NIKON FIELDSCOPE 60 III ED ANGLED SPOTTING SCOPE

Hello,
Nikon Fieldscope 60 III ED Angled Scope.
The scope provides an outstanding, very sharp beautiful image. However, it does have some fogging in the prism as you can see in the listing photos, as well as some tiny dots on one of the inner elements that I can't display as it is impossible to get a photo of them. The sealing appears to have failed and some moisture must have entered. Nevertheless, it has zero impact on the image.
I have no idea how you would open up, clean and re-seal this scope. If you're familiar with repairing scopes then this could be a great deal for you.
Nikon Japan will not accept it for repairs any more, because of the age.
It may still be covered under the lifetime warranty in other countries, but I can't promise that. It would be best to check if you are planning on sending it for warranty repair to Nikon wherever you are located.
It's a great scope, and I would not hesitate to keep it and use it, even with the little bit of fog in the prism, as it has no effect on the image. Expenses force me to sell it though.
Please note that the scope is sold AS-IS, without returns. It's just too complicated to deal with returns on this item. So please know what you are getting into before buying it.
