Cheddar Cheese Powder will add the delicious taste of cheddar to your snacks. This powder is perfect for sprinkling on popcorn, pretzels or any snack you desire. Cheddar Cheese Powder is also useful for baked potatoes, pastas and salads.
Cheddar Cheese Powder- This powder has so many uses, we probably haven't figured them all out yet! Here are just some of the uses; add into mashed or baked potatoes, mix with milk for a great casserole or pasta sauce, add to bread mixes or sprinkle over popcorn. The recipe we use to make a cheese sauce is: 1/2 cup cheddar cheese powder, 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup milk (similar to the mac n cheese sauce). Each 8 ounce is approximately 2 cups of powder. This cheese is a Kraft product, but it is not the exact powder found in the mac n cheese boxes, it is not as diluted and is a stronger cheese powder.
Volume:
1 cup = 0.27 pounds / 1 pound = approx. 2.7 cups
Ingredients:
Maltodextrin, Whey (from milk), Cheddar Cheese (milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes), Sunflower Oil, Salt, Sodium Phosphate, Blue Cheese (milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes), Contains Less than 2% of Citric Acid, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Lactic Acid.Contains milk.
Storage
Cheddar cheese powder is made by taking the moisture out of regular cheese. 3 lbs cheese, makes 2 lbs of powder, producing a smooth rich flavor. Store in a cool dry place for 6 to 12 months. We do not recommend refrigeration or freezing.
How To Use It

Give cauliflower pizza crust some flavor lift-off—and added moisture-control—by adding a few tablespoons of powdered cheese to the dough
Sift over cracker dough before baking, or replace a few tablespoons of flour in your cracker dough recipe with powdered cheese for an even cheesier flavor
Whisk a few big pinches of it into eggs before soft-scrambling them in browned butter
Toss freshly made French fries in a mixture of cheese powder, salt and garlic powder
Dust freshly fried or baked potato chips with it
Whisk it into labne with some caramelized shallots for a dip
Knead some into Parkerhouse roll dough after the first proof
