Boss CE-1 DM-1 100V to 117V Japan to US AC Voltage Conversion Service

This service is not a mod, there are no hacks, no parts replaced, and no parts added or removed. It is 100% reversible.
USA export models of the Boss CE-1 and DM-1 are very expensive, so a lot of us buy from Japan to save a few hundred dollars.
The problem is Japanese models run on 100V AC, which is 20-25 AC volts lower than today’s wall voltage in the US and will eventually kill the transformer in these pedals if used on US mains power.
This service is for Japanese pedals only. I cannot convert European 220-240V pedals as they use a completely different transformer.
You send your pedal in, I convert it to US 117V power, and I ship it back to you. Your pedal stays with me for no longer than a week. Shipping is usually a few days each way, barring any delays with the shippers that are beyond my control.
DISCLAIMER TIME, YAY:
-I do not fix broken pedals, I do not mod working pedals. I do not service modded pedals. I will only perform the service on 100% original working pedals.
-I highly recommend shipping insurance at the value of 0. If it’s lost on the way to me or never arrives, we cannot do anything about it without shipping insurance. I will not buy you out if you don’t insure your shipment. The extra few dollars is worth protecting your 0 pedal.
-I am not liable for bad packing jobs resulting in shipping damage. I will be opening each shipment on video before starting any work, and if I see any damage, I’ll make note of it and reach out to you.
My return packaging will not result in damage. I have no interest in or incentive to cutting corners here.
