•  RAM is 1 GB. This is the maximum memory the Pismo will accept
•  The storage drive is a solid state (SSD) 128 GB drive.  It adds new meaning to "quiet computing" and is much, much faster than a hard drive
•  The optical drive is a non-original tray-loading DVD r/CD r-w unit.  Even if you never burn a disk this drive is far faster and more reliable than the original
•  Genuine Apple AirPort card installed.  This card supports 811.2b network capabilities and works in any speed network.  With Mac OS 10.2.8 and later it supports WAP Personal encryption. If all this does not meet your needs the PCMCIA slot will accept many third-party cards for -g and -n wireless networks
•  OS X 10.4.11Tiger and OS 9.2.2 Classic are newly loaded on the hard drive.  The Tiger install includes all of the security and other updates issued while Apple still supported the OS
Original 14.1" display.  From a cold start it takes a bit of time for the LCD to reach full brightness.  After that it is pixel-perfect & stable. There might be a very light mark or two on the on the surface of the LCD
The AC power adapter is a third party unit with a cutesy name. I have used the type extensively and consider it great.  The main battery shows ~50% charge but this is an observation, not a guarantee.  The computer runs just fine on the AC adapter
The plastics are in excellent condition for the age of the computer with just a few minor dings and rubs
The lid hinges have just a bit of play
The feet are replacements and probably won't stay on any better than the originals the originals
Of course all of the features - USB firewire, PCMCIA/CardBus, Ethernet, modem and sound I/O ports, S-video & VGA display connectors, standard on the Pismo
